It's a neat way to incorporate the orange without going flashback-to-the-seventies overboard.

I love the torn cheesecloth and have seen that before.  You'll always get pretty far with me and lanterns.  Black branches with hanging bats?  Double-framed black cats?  Graphic calligraphy print on a white pumpkin?

This says Halloween with modern elegance.
